How do I set this up?
The make up scheduler is designed to run without a lot of your intervention. To make it active you should check the following:
1) Edit your session (Setup/Sessions) and set the number of makeups allowed per student to greater than 0
2) Edit the classes (Classes List; click on the Class name). Click on "Policy Details" to get to that page for the class and the make up policy is shown at the bottom. Click "Edit" if you need to change it. This policy determines whether students in that class have the right to make up, and in what other classes.
3) Edit the main Class information to enable makeups in that class (from other classes) and set how many extra spots you want to allow if the class is full
That is all you need to do to enable it. You will see any make up students on the class enrollment page, and on Class Lists. There is also a Make Up Report.
To schedule a make up for a student from admin, go to the enrollment page for the class they will be missing, click on the date/student in the attendance area and select the option to make up.
